Dr Ben Lancashire is a specialist oncoplastic & reconstructive breast, endocrine and general surgeon.

Dr Lancashire completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland. He went on to study Medicine at the University of Queensland where he graduated with Honours. He won the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Neville Davis Research Prize during his advanced general surgical training.

After completing his specialist training as a general surgeon, Dr Lancashire undertook a further two years of sub-specialty training in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery and endocrine surgery.

Dr Lancashire is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), a member of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ), the Australasian Society for Breast Disease (ASBD), the Australian & New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons (AES) and General Surgeons Australia (GSA). He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr Lancashire is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and Griffith University, and is currently completing a Master of Advanced Breast Surgery through the University of Sydney.

Dr Lancashire consults from the Mater Private Breast Cancer Centre in South Brisbane, Brisbane Medical Specialists at Tarragindi and Westside Private Hospital in Taringa. He has a visiting specialist position at the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital and is a visiting breast surgeon with BreastScreen Queensland.
