Kellie is able to offer the complete range of women’s health services at Eve Health.
As an experienced Obstetrician, Kellie has a calm and empathetic bedside manner and provides high-quality one-on-one personalised care. She enjoys planning individualised birth experiences whilst keeping safety a priority. While most pregnancies remain uncomplicated, when required Kellie has considerable capability in managing pregnancies complicated by prematurity, diabetes and complex maternal medical problems.
With her advanced training in laparoscopic (“keyhole”) surgery, Kellie is able to provide treatment for ovarian cysts, endometriosis and abnormal bleeding. She regularly helps women manage prolapse symptoms and is also qualified to manage and treat pap smear abnormalities, chronic pelvic pain, vaginismus and contraception issues.
Kellie strongly believes in empowering women by providing them with the knowledge to make an informed choice about their healthcare. She strives to achieve this with each patient by staying abreast of the latest developments in her field and discussing these with her patients.
In addition to her work at Eve Health, Kellie also holds a staff specialist position at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She enjoys teaching and maintains an active role in the training of junior doctors and medical students. Kellie has received an award for her Clinical Teaching from the University of Queensland, where she is currently an Associate Lecturer.
Kellie is an active member of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society (AGES) and the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia (PPFA).
In her spare time, Kellie enjoys camping with friends and family and riding the ups and downs of parenthood that her daughters Molly and Phoebe provide her with.
