The Wesley's cancer service is one of the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in Australia and draws on more than 20 highly experienced and skilled specialists supported by trained oncology nursing staff. Innovative and advanced cancer care is available through state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities.
The oncology service provides a range of the most sophisticated treatments including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, brachytherapy, blood transfusions and other intravenous therapies required for the long term management of malignant conditions (see radiation therapy). Patients have access to novel drug, immunologic, and gene therapies through clinical trials.
The Wesley cancer care service also offers patients and families support services from counselling through to dietary and physiotherapy needs to provide a comprehensive and compassionate care plan.

The haematology service at the Wesley provides a comprehensive range of clinical services for blood diseases. Treatment is provided using a team approach including haematologists, specialist nurses, counsellors and other support staff. The Wesley also has one of Australia's foremost stem cell transplantation units performing autologous and allogenic stem cell transplants. Acute leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma requiring intensive chemotherapy are also managed.

Patients of The Wesley Hosptial in conjunction with Premion have access some of the latest theraputic treatments options. Radiation oncologists and radiation therapists prescribe, plan and deliver the treatment.
A multidisciplinary support team provides patients with expert care and education in a professional, warm and friendly environment. This includes trained registered nurses who provide specialised care during and after treatment. Premion works closely with other Wesley services and patients and their families have access to support services from counselling to dietary and physiotherapy needs as part of a comprehensive care plan during and after radiotherapy.
