Dr Geoffrey Chia

Dr Geoffrey Chia is a Cardiologist working at The Wesley Hopsital. Dr Chia qualified as a Cardiologist in 1994 and after brief stints as locum staff cardiologist at the Wellington and Royal Brisbane hospitals, he worked as principal cardiologist of the Taranaki district of New Zealand, serving a population of over 100,000. 
 
Dr Chia obtained his pilot’s licence in New Zealand and flew weekly from New Plymouth to Hamilton where he performed coronary angiograms, transoesophageal echoes and permanent pacemaker implantations.
