Dr Michael Gattas

Dr Michael Gattas has trained as a Paediatrician and worked continuously as full time Clinical Geneticist since 1993. He works part time as a staff specialist in genetics at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, and a Consultant in Clinical Genetics with Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology. His special interest in family history of cancer, IVF, and paediatric patients. 

Dr Gattas has visited many regional centres in Queensland, New South Wales, and Northern Territory to provide specialist genetics advice. He is also experienced in using videoconference technology to see patients who are unable to travel to Brisbane to be seen.
