Dr Campbell is a Urologist who began his practice at The Wesley Hospital in 2006. He has a wide range of experience in all aspects of urological surgery and his scope of practice includes all urological cancers, stone disease, voiding dysfunction, men’s health and female urology. Dr Campbell has a special interest in prostate cancer and the use of minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of this disease. He also practices minimally invasive renal surgery using laparoscopy, endoscopy and percutaneous techniques.

Female urology includes the treatment of both urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Male voiding dysfunction includes obstruction secondary to prostate enlargement as well as incontinence secondary to prostate surgery. Surgery for prostate enlargement can be performed with minimal invasiveness using endoscopy. More recently laser surgery can be performed.

Dr Campbell is a medical graduate of The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He came to Australia in 1991 and trained in urology in Brisbane. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand, The American Urological Association and The European Association of Urologists. Dr Campbell is a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Surgery of The University of Queensland and is a Visiting Medical Officer at the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital.
