What is neurosurgery?
Neurosurgery prevents, diagnoses and treats disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, skull, spinal column, spinal cord and peripheral nerves (nerves of the arms and legs). At The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane, our neurosurgeons treat and manage conditions that affect the flow of blood to the brain. As well as performing operations, they may be involved in your rehabilitation after treatment.
