UnitingCare Health is committed to regularly gathering and monitoring clinical and quality outcome and patient experience data. We strive to:
- Be open and transparent about our performance and the quality of the services we provide
- Provide our patients and community with good information in order to make informed decisions about their hospital of choice
- Demonstrate how data and outcome measures can be used to evaluate and improve the way we deliver care.
UnitingCare Health Hospitals have robust clinical governance
systems both locally and corporately which review the data, monitor and benchmark outcomes, develop new initiatives to address any underperformance, and promote continuous improvement across a wide range of quality indicators.
As well as internal systems, UnitingCare Health provides and reports data to several external healthcare regulatory bodies, including the Private Health Regulatory Team, Queensland Health and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.
The Wesley Hospital is committed to publishing our clinical results which maybe found on patient safety
, and the ongoing improvement of patient care and has a comprehensive quality and safety program that covers many aspects of the patient experience.
