Dr Andrew Small is a Cardiologist and manages all aspects of cardiovascular medicine with a special interest in acute coronary syndromes, coronary angiography and angioplasty.
Dr Small commenced practice at The Wesley Hospital in 2009. Dr Small graduated from the University of Queensland and completed his residency and physician training at Princess Alexandra Hospital before training in cardiology at the Royal Brisbane and Prince Charles Hospitals. He completed a clinical Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in British Columbia, Canada, where he gained extensive experience in trans-radial coronary angiography and angioplasty. Dr Small is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
