Dr Joshua Daly

Dr Joshua Daly is a Pain Medicine Physician and Specialist Anaesthetist.  Recently, Dr Daly has joined Interventus Pain Specialists, with Dr Daniel Berge and Dr Richard Pendleton. Specific areas of interest for Dr Daly is in the accurate diagnosis and use of evidence based treatments for chronic pain conditions with the goal of facilitating maximal functional recovery. 

Dr Daly has travelled throughout Australia and to the United Kingdom to broaden his interventional skill set with plans of travelling to the United States and Europe in 2017 to further the range of procedures on offer to patients with unique pain conditions.

Dr Daly has public appointments at two of Brisbane’s largest tertiary hospitals (The Princess Alexandra hospital and Royal Brisbane & Women’s hospital) and works privately throughout Brisbane.

Dr Daly completed his Medical Degree at the University of New South Wales, Sydney and returned to QLD where he completed specialist medical training and was awarded dual fellowship in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine. He has also completed the ABIME certification exams and is an Independent Medical Examiner.

He was awarded the Australian Society of Anaesthetists Chairman’s award for his creation of a website and mobile phone app to help anaesthetists manage unexpected crisis situations. He has presented at major national conferences on the topics of crisis management for anaesthetists and emerging pain therapies for pain medicine physicians.
