Dr Pritpal Bansi

Dr Bansi is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with particular interest in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery, and has been a Visiting Medical Practitioner at The Wesley Hospital since 2009. 
 
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery, is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Bansi is also a Certified Independent Medical Examiner. 
 
Dr Bansi completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1996 followed by advanced training in orthopaedics within the Queensland training program. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Dr Bansi was Director of Orthopaedics at the Townsville Hospital and he focussed on disorders of the shoulder, elbow and hand. He subsequently pursued a Fellowship in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery including microsurgery at St. Luke’s and Sydney Hospital Hand Unit.
