The Wesley Hospital's records team recently received a request from a previous patient's granddaughter, asking for a copy of her nana's last ECG. Last week we received a beautiful thank you note, with a picture of the end product. 



"Even in her last days, my Nana preached love and forgiveness; making sure her family of five children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren knew the importance of spreading love in our world today. She was an amazing woman and left an amazing legacy for all who encountered her presence along their  life journey.

She was treated wonderfully by the staff at the Wesley Hospital and they endeavoured to make her last days comfortable; allowing our very large and close knit family to come and pay our respects, sit by her bedside, and shower love upon the Queen of our family.

After her passing I reached out to a staff member in the records department. I was seeking my nana’s last ECG records for a tattoo I was wanting to have designed. After providing the required identification documents an amazing staff member provided me the details I needed and I will forever be grateful.

I cannot thank the nursing staff and doctors at Wesley Hospital enough. They are real people, with genuine care and empathy, who had always selflessly looked after my nana for many years before her last moments. Thank you."
