To support The Wesley Hospital’s growth into the future Ms Bronwyn Whelan has been appointed to Director of Operations.

This new addition to the executive team ensures The Wesley Hospital will continue to deliver our current services in the most patient centric and efficient manner possible, but also to cast our minds to the future.

The Director of Operations will be responsible for improving and delivering on the Operational Performance of The Wesley Hospital, in partnership with the Hospital’s Executive Management team. The role is also responsible for supporting hospital wide initiatives to develop and ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Bronwyn has extensive experience within the healthcare sector working at a number of major hospitals within Brisbane and Toowoomba in various leadership roles, as well as working most recently for Micah Projects, a charity in Brisbane, that provides support and care to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Through Bronwyn's roles within the healthcare sector, she has extensive experience in hospital operational performance and business growth, as well as clinical stakeholder engagement, including board and executive liaison.
