Dr Stringer is a General Surgeon with special interests in benign breast disease and breast cancer (including sentinel lymph node biopsy) and endocrine surgery for thyroid and parathyroid disease including minimally invasive techniques.
Dr Stringer completed her fellowship for the Royal Australasian College of General Surgeons in 2006, having done the majority of her training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH), but also at a number of other Queensland Hospitals. She then undertook subspecialty training in breast and endocrine surgery as the Ramsay Health Fellow in 2007 at The Wesley Hospital, North West Private Hospital and RBWH. She furthered her experience in breast and endocrine surgery in a locum position at John Flynn and Tweed Heads Hospitals in 2008.
Dr Stringer is currently working at the RBWH and commenced practice at the Wesley and North West Private Hospitals in early 2009.
