Dr Petar Vujovic

Dr Petar Vujovic is a General Surgeon specialising in breast and endocrine surgery. He has more than a decade of experience in breast and endocrine surgery including two years experience at consultant level in the UK.

Dr Vujovic graduated from medical school at the University of Western Australia in 1990 and completed his general surgical training in Perth in 1998. He then became a fellow at Princess Alexandra Hospital before taking Consultant Surgeon posts in the United Kingdom at Nottingham City Hospital and Broomfield Hospital. Dr Vujovic completed his Surgical Fellowship in 1999 and post-Fellowship training in Brisbane in 2000. He worked as a Consultant Surgeon in Nottingham and Chelmsford, UK before returning to Brisbane in 2002 to take up an appointment as Visiting Medical Officer in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. 
 
His academic appointments include Senior Lecturer (University of Queensland), Clinical Tutor (The Wesley Hospital) and Assistant Professor (Bond University).
