Dr Melissa Buttini

Dr Melissa Buttini is a Gynaecologist with a special interest in menstrual disorders, endometriosis, pre-cancerous cervical disease and laparoscopic surgery and has been practicing at The Wesley Hospital since 2000.

Dr Buttini graduated form the University of Queensland in 1986 and completed her specialist registration in 1999 and obtained the Gold Medal for highest score in Australia in her specialist exams. She was in rural medical practice from 1988 to 1993 before undertaking her obstetric and gynaecology training from 1994 to 1999.

Dr Buttini is a regular speaker at General Practice and Sexual Health conferences in Queensland and is a tutor for medical students attending the Wesley Clinical School.
