  • Aesthetic breast surgery: Surgical techniques including breast augmentation, breast lift, or breast reduction.
  • Breast conserving surgery: An operation to remove a tumour while leaving as much normal breast as possible. Otherwise known as a lumpectomy.
  • Oncoplastic surgery: Surgery to remove breast cancer with the objective of improving cosmetic outcomes.
  • Sentinel node biopsy: A procedure in which the sentinel lymph node is identified, removed, and examined to determine whether cancer cells are present.
